Vegetarian Hot and Sour Soup
(Recipe created by Tao Peking Restaurant)
Ingredients:
- 20g straw mushroom, shredded
- 20g bamboo shoot, shredded
- 20g fungus, shredded
- 20g tofu, shredded
- 20g carrot, shredded
- 20g mangetouts, shredded
- bowl of water
- ˝ egg, well beaten
Seasonings (set 1):
- 1 tbsp Yeo’s Hot Bean Sauce
- ˝ tsp Yeo’s Pure Sesame Oil
- ˝ tsp Yeo’s Dark Soy Sauce
Seasonings (set 2):
- 2 tsp Chinese vinegar
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 2 tsp water
- ˝ tsp ground pepper
Preparation:
- Cook all the ingredients (except beaten egg) and seasonings (set 1) with water until boiled for 2 minutes.
- Mix seasonings (set 2) and pour into the soup and cook for another 1 minute. Add the beaten egg and serve.
